The FTC cracked down hard on incluencers however. It is required that influencers disclose that they are advertising or endorsing a product or company. So be aware that when hiring an influence, they will need to disclose their post or video that is being promoted is an advertisement, and they cannot bury it in a hashtag. Here is the letter from the FTC.
